Storytime Updates - Being Brave September 30 & My Body October 7
I haven't posted lately - been busy!! Here's from the last few weeks -
Being Brave
Before storytime even started, I challenged them to balance on a beam! (Borrowed from IFLS - Being Brave Kit)

Acted out The Rhyming Dust Bunnies - also from the Being Brave Kit
Book: Bully by Laura Vaccaro Seeger
Song: Can't Wait to Celebrate by Jim Gill
Book: When Lions Roar by Robie H. Harris
Book: Tickle Monster by Manceau
Fingerplay/poem: Little Mouse Felt (by your's truly)

At Social Hour we had:
Welcome Song (again from Jbrary) only this time we would have cut out the "read together" and added "dance together" with the scarves.

Book: I Love You, Nose to Toes!
Song: We Clap Our Hands by Jim Gill with egg shakers
Book: Tickle Monster by Edouard Manceau
Movement: Your Body Has Lots of Bones (song i came up with - will post in a few weeks)
Book: Wild Feelings by David Milgrim
Song: Toe Leg Knee by Jim Gill
Book: My Nose, Your Nose by Melanie Walsh
Action: Tickle Your.... i would have had adults/kids take turns tickling the other person's toes, elbows, hair, etc.

For Social Hour I was going to have adults trace their children then they could color and add stickers to their body outline.
