Newsletter News

Our September newsletter was chock-full of interesting information, we had to leave some out! Please read the articles below that couldn't fit in our latest mailed newsletter!

One World, Many Stories a World-wide Success!
Fall Creek area youth had a banner summer! Over 90 youth participated in this read-for-fun program, reading over 460 hours! A hearty congratulations to our top readers: Sophie Kuehn, Riley Lucken, Olivia Forcier, MiKayla McCann, Alexis Heskett, and Baillee Shellenbarger! After completing 6 Reading passports, 17 youth were invited to a special Ice Cream Party! Area youth participated in numerous programs, including Storytime, performer Ken Lonnquist with Beaver Creek Reserve, musicians The Stoop Singers, and game/craft days.

The following is a list of former and possible projects: volunteer at a book/bake sale; conduct a major cleaning; plan a program with Jenna; construct a shelf; assist during a fundraiser for the Library; collect cans; purchase materials and supplies; make puppets for Storytime; create artwork out of old books to sell as a fundraiser; alphabetize materials; your opportunities are many! Contact Jenna to discuss your interests.
